It's 2023, and the world isn't much different. You'd expect the first man on Mars, robots governing the entire earth... America, however, hasn't changed for the better. Even thought the rest of the world hasn't changed much, America has plunged into turmoil. A new dictator broke up the states and cities and established new districts, each loyal to the dictator. The dictator has fears. To contain them, he put in place a special test to make sure students weren't smart enough to overthrow the government. Emma Raines has passed the Test- with flying colors. * * * Emma's always been smart. And in this world, it's bad. After her brother gets kidnapped, she sets out on a wild goose chase to find him- and the clock's ticking. This will be a short story like most of my other ones. Hope you enjoy!
