After school, she sees a group of younger children hassling a young dragon, who she then saves. The dragon is named Warun, and it's come from a kingdom that lives for wishes and dreams. However, this kingdom has been taken over by a demon king named Akumai, who, along with his three subordinates and two kids (his second-in-commands), have raided it and turned into an unhappy hellscape! Warun needs Chise's help in saving the kingdom, but... how will she achieve this? Not to mention she's the reincarnation of Bad End Happy, a girl who wants to make everyone in the world miserable! With the power of a magical mirror that she found last night after making a wish - to save Gemmeland (and also to be a cosmetologist) - this being a Prism Mirror, as well as her determination to bring life back to the Kingdom, she transforms into the Pretty Cure of hope and stars, Cure Shimmer! After taking down a ghost-like monster (Yamishin), Chise is tasked with collecting several magic crystals called Arcus Charms, but she can't do it alone! No, she has to find the other Cures, who are suspected to be Bad End reincarnations as well! How will she go about this...? (Story from Quotev. She's an avid reader, does great at school, and has an excellent relationship with her adoptive mother/mentor Queen Ciel DeBella. Unfortunately, the Kingdom of Concordia is under attack by evil forces - Team Mauvais. Friendship and harmony sicken them, and they want to be more powerful, and to do that, they need the Heart of Harmony, a magical gem the size of a person's head infused with all sorts of magic. If taken by Mauvais, it'll be corrupted and power up their kingdom. Not wanting this to happen, Queen Ciel sent Sachiko (as well as Kouma, a young horse-like fairy) to Earth to gain Friendship Power, make friends, and form a team of magical girls that can take down Team Mauvais and protect Concordia! To get Friendship Power, Sachiko, Kouma, and their friends must collect Friendship Crystals - there's two types: Cure Crystals and Power Crystals. The Power ones can built up Friendship Power, while the Cure ones can make a transformation item needed for one to become a Cure!...only if they're worthy, of course!
