Ella Yumi, twin cousin of Miko Nakadai, had her life take an unexpected turn during her childhood, when she became part of a secret MECH experiment that involved the injection of small amounts of Energon into her system. The experiment, intended to enhance human capabilities, went horribly wrong. Instead of gaining strength, Ella's body struggled to adapt, slowly deteriorating over time, the Energon poisoning her inside out. Since the experiment, Ella has been plagued by mysterious voices in her head, voices that guide her through cryptic clues and fragments of knowledge. As the voices grow louder and more urgent, Ella feels her time is running out. The stress of the constant mental noise is overwhelming. Ballet has become her escape, the only way she can momentarily silence the chaos in her mind. The elegance of movement, the fluidity of the dance, and the focus it demands allow her to block out the whispers, only for a little while. Soon, the voices began giving her hints about a location: Jasper, Nevada. The place where Miko had gone to a year ago for an exchange program. Lucky for Ella, she managed to receive a ballet scholarship to the same school her cousin was in.
