SHIFTING SKIES SERIES # 01 In elementary school, Lorelie Clementine Echevera was always known as a quiet kid, with only one or two friends. She was shy, quiet , and never really opened up to anyone. She was always the outcast in every room. So she was worried when she found out her mother enrolled her at Solidarity Junior High, where she had no one. But then the pandemic happened, and it made her relieved. Being at home, though, made her anxiety worse. She couldn't even look at people. That was until she met Steve Nicholai Alegria in third year, a talkative, volleyball player. He always stood out in class because of his carefree manner, his easy smile, and his light energy. He was everything Lorelie wasn't. Steve was the fun one, the one who made everyone laugh. He was like the sun, bringing light and joy to the room. The teachers loved him, but Lorelie was just kind of there, like a quiet shadow. And now, Lorelie had to deal with him. Her annoying, talkative, popular seatmate. ^^
