"How many existentialists does it take to screw a lightbulb?" Spencer asked with a small laugh. Once again the room was silent. You faintly heard Agent Rossi mutter, "Don't." "2. One to change the light bulb and one to observe how it symbolizes an incandescent beacon of subjectivity in a netherworld of cosmic nothingness," he said. The room was silent still, until you laughed. His eyes looked up at yours in confusion. "Wouldn't they sit in the dark and hope that the bulb decided to light again? An existentialist would never change the bulb. He would allow the darkness to exist," you questioned. - #1 #spencerreid #1 #mgg #1 emilyprentiss

[Completed] Harry Potter's world turned upside down. He no longer had to spend lonely summers at the Dursley's. In fact, he would never again spend his summers at the Dursley's. But was that a good thing? It meant leaving his friends, people he considered family. It meant traveling to America and living with estranged relatives. It meant sharing his life with strangers in New York, also known as the Jackson-Blofis family. *swearing included* *no Estelle, sorry* After PJO and HoO, Leo came back, Apollo stayed a god, no ToA, no Estelle. Starts when Percy is 17 turning 18 on August 18th; summer before Goblet of Fire, so Harry is 13 turning 14 on July 31st. Note: Story is set in modern day/Percy's timeline. Disclaimer Applies to Entire Story: I do not own any of the characters from the Percy Jackson series. All characters and plots from said series belong to Rick Riordan. I do not own any characters from the Harry Potter series. All characters and plots from said series belong to J.K. Rowling. In June of 1980, Voldemort successfully took control of the Magical Ministry. For eleven years, Magical Britain was finally at peace, with only a few rebels fighting against the New Ministry. Voldemort stepped out of the limelight after the end of the war, choosing instead to focus on something important: His son. A four-year-old Inferius who goes by the name 'Little One' and is completely adored by everyone who meets him. But Little One holds a lot of mysteries. Who is he? How did he die? But most pressing, what is his relationship to the Dark Lord? Everything is fine, of course, until the Order decides to take Little One away from a very protective and possessive Dark Lord. And somehow, that is the least of the Dark Lord's problems. Add one clingy, annoying Death and one all-seeing, secretive Fate and you might just have a story! Follow Voldemort as he struggles through protecting his child, fighting off a very persistent Death, running an entire country, and for Merlin's saKE CAN HE PLEASE BEAT FATE AT ONE BLOODY GAME OF CHESS????? AKA: The Voldemort adopts an Inferius Harry fic that no one asked for, but surprise, it exists! [Very OOC and not a Tomarry/Harrymort. Recently changed summary, same story!]

Being named after the stars is a common thing, being able to shine like one is not. But, a change from Nick Fury's personal super assassin to being under the watch of Tony Stark and the other Avengers was as abnormal as you could get. Stella, with the power to manipulate any energy she can see, and blood on her hands since birth, tries to fit in in the unnervingly caring eyes of Tony Stark, who has decided, above anything else, that this kid will be his. Or, Tony Stark has a problem not adopting troubled and parentless children, especially ones that shine brightly once he enters a room.
