After Vox is suddenly blindsided by Valentino and Velvette and kicked out of VoxTek, he is left stranded with nothing and is forced to turn to Hazbin Hotel for help. There he gets caught up in a twisted deal with Alastor who intends to use his presence to his advantage. In return, he agrees to help Vox reclaim his throne from Valentino and get his revenge. Vox reluctantly agrees until he finds out Alastor's plan revolves around them becoming fake boyfriends and the feelings he once harbored for Alastor slowly begin to resurface.

Vox has a dream of a 7 year old boy in his room with someone with him talking and singing him to sleep. He suddenly wakes up, figuring out what he saw is just a dream or a flashback memory. A few days later, while he was hanging out with his friends (Valentino & Velvet), he was suddenly attacked by two people trying to shot him. His friends advised to stay at the hotel for a few months for not only for his safety but his adopted daughter as well. During his time staying at the hotel (without Alastor & Vox fighting each other), Vox and Charlie became very close and good friends. But they'll soon feel some else more than just friends. Everything was turning better for Vox and Emika. During the last month of them staying, Vox has a dream again but it was nightmare. When he woke up from his nightmare, he hears someone singing the same song from the dream he had the last time. But he notices it's Charlie singing it to Emika for her to sleep. How does she know the song? Are Vox's dreams/nightmares just his dreams? Or memories? Who are the two people trying to kill him? Will they come back?

The future is greed, comparable to what awaits the Hazbin Hotel. If Vox loses, it will be serious... but the real war is getting closer and closer, and somewhere out there, Vox is being changed from within by Charlie, and Alastor is an observer of these events. And he is a greedy villain with his own agenda. Lute will accumulate pain like a ticking time bomb, and one day it will explode.
