The turtles are so sad and depressed, blaming themselves for his death. Leo especially. In the mist of his anger and depression, Leo creates a portal that is made to bring Mikey back, although as Mikey is dead, Leo is sure it won't work. That is, until a very firmillar looking mutant turtle with an orange mask comes out of it. Tmnt 2012 was sleeping everything off after winning a battle with Shredder. Despite winning, they believe Mikey wasn't good enough. Before each of them went to bed, they made fun of Mikey and lectured him on how to be a better ninja and brother. They didn't know that a portal, made by another turtle from a different universe, would take their baby brother away while he slept. Rottmnt realized that 2012 Mikey is another version of their dead baby brother. They are selfish and don't tell him that they can send him back. They try to keep this Mikey for themselves, especially after learning that his other brothers make fun of him for being the worst ninja on the team. Tmnt 2012 realizes Mikey is gone and regret everything they did to him. They will do anything to find their baby brother and make up for those things.
