Aru Shah's life is just getting better. Her mom had almost recovered from the past few years, she had finally finished middle school and she'd been selected to take part in the National Competition of Brilliance! The prize, a scholarship to the most prestigious author's academy in the country. The only problem, she has to work with Aiden Acharya. Who she hates. But, for the sake of her future she'll have to put their (more than rough) history behind them and work with the idiot. But no matter what, her history doesn't want to stay buried... you guessed it, Aruden fanfic because ... ARUDEN FANFIC!!!!! I'm actually really excited about this one! <3

Aru Shah loves her job. Wouldn't you when you're a well known detective? When you're called 'the Sherlock Holmes of the era'? Her streak was a case solved in 6 days! Well on official documentation, it says 5 days 18 hours and 53 minutes, but the official news says 6 days. Whatever. Plus, her sisters worked there! Could it get any better? But she works alone. Solo was the best way to go, after all. That being said, could you imagine her reaction when they say she has to work with someone equally as good as her? Well, first, she wasn't used to it, and second, her pride was at stake here! But this was also the most dangerous case she has gotten in...forever. Will working with him slow her down? Or will they finish it quickly? Will they reach The Light at the End of the Tunnel in time? TW: mentions of blood, fatal injuries, death, weapons, SA, and abuse. Aiden Acharya. One word about him and suddenly everyone's listening. The type of guy girls and boys gush over. Gentlemanly as he could be. The son of the Acharyas, one of the richest families in USA. He wouldn't go against his father's wishes, no matter how much he wanted to. But that was until, at the young age of 18, his father agreed to get him married. Aru Shah. There are three words to describe her place in society: no one cares. Her family's well-off, but not rich. She's a high school senior, studying for her SATs like a normal girl. She's just...normal. Pretty, cunning, smart and mysterious. No one knows more about her than she lets on. Two entirely different people. Different places in society. All of a sudden, Aru, your normal girl, knows the engaged son of the illustrious Acharyas, and Aiden wants to know everything about Aru. And then normal isn't normal anymore when they're together.
