Life isn't easy for Luz or Amity. They've both been abused, been hurt, been traumatized. They've hurt each other multiple times and yet they love each other greatly, strongly. Luz spends years chasing after a crush and only ends up falling, breaking her own heart. She doesn't understand what this feeling is that she has whenever she's around. As time goes by the feeling grows. Amity has those same feelings yet she doesn't know how to contain them. She acts recklessly with her feelings and that can get her in tricky situations. Yet she stands her ground, especially when she's with Luz. She's stronger with her, she's better with her. The thing is, who really knows if Luz acts on these feelings.

Krel Tarron is an Akridion king-in-waiting who stayed on earth after his sister, mentors, and all the other akridions left back to their home planet. Since everybody knows he's an alien, Krel decides to move to a place called New Metro City, so he can have a fresh start. One night these 2 meet and become friends not too long after. And the more they get to know each other, they fall in love. But what happens when Makayla starts to have visions of her past, revealing a dark secret, and meets someone from her past. Will this be enough to split these new found lovers apart?
