In a world where nothing is quite what it seems Mariden and Tore find there is more to them than meets the eye. Mariden is a necromancer. As soon as she finds out she has the power to control death, it goes haywire. Tore is stuck trying to help Mariden deal with her new found ability, but soon finds this may be an impossible feat. As Meriden finds herself battling new challenges she meets many people along the way. She has to decide which ones to save and which to let go, this becomes an impossible task as her past creeps up on her and what she least expects becomes an everyday occurrence.
