This is the last, unofficial book of the Hunger Games. It's for those fans who disliked the ending as much as I did. I just... thought that there should be more to it. It's not an alternative ending, but a story, that Katniss does indeed go on living. Her and Peeta are still in love, so don't worry, those of you who, like me, cannot stand seeing Peeta separated from Katniss. It might be boring at the beginning, but bear through it. I promise, you will love the ending to this.

There's only one victor in the game that Rue is chosen to play. And when the odds never seem to be in your favor, sometimes the only option for a sweet, tiny girl is to show that even the littlest of flowers can have thorns. This is a hunger games fanfiction. The idea of this book is not my own; for the original book, read The Hunger Games. (By Suzanne Collins).

President Paylor has been assassinateded by Alva Snow; who returns to take over Panem with a fiery vengance. The 77th Hunger Games have officially begun. Silver Iris and Rye Mellark have been drafted in the Reaping - along with Axel Hawthorne, Retiarius Odair, Alura Abiteth, and twenty-one helpless others. Will Gale and Katniss finally receive their long awaited apologies, or will bitterness take a deeper root? Will the Capitol's invisible grasp on Katniss and Peeta's mind weaken, or will watching their children suffer drive them over the edge? Twenty-six tributes, only one can live. Happy Hunger Games. And may the odds be ever in your favor.

What would have happened if Katniss didn't take Prim's spot in The Hunger Games? Would anything be any different? Would a new story unfold? This is my version. *WARNING: Things have been changed. Don't say I didn't warn you.*

Have you ever wondered what would have happened if Katniss Everdeen didn't go to save Peeta Mellark right away? Or what would have happened to Panem if Katniss hadn't become the Mockingjay? What if Katniss ended up with Gale? The possibilities of how the story could have went are endless. I've questioned the events in "The Hunger Games" Triology, and this is my take on how a small shift of events can affect Panem's future forever.
