Brock and Ann get the opportunity of a lifetime when they head to China to visit a Panda Reserve. There, along with some familiar friends, they help rescue a panda cub and now must reunite him with his mother. But the risks are high as they're being hunted by poachers.

But after a meteor shower destroys the dino's home, the persistent adventurers must leave in order to find a new habitat known as the "Nesting Grounds", where there's enough vegetation and water for all. Along the way they meet Aladar, an iguanodon and his lemur family who raised him. Aladar, Littlefoot and their friends will be tested by overcoming enormous challenges larger than they've ever faced themselves through courage, loyalty, and hope on this miraculous journey.
