Okay so I'm moving parts of my Chmergess stories to their own book. I'm leaving the originals where they are since they've been so well received but I wanted to put them here too as well as the updates that will come to follow.

I sat impatiently in the waiting room of the office. I tapped my foot on the tile floor and released a breath I didn't realize I was holding in. Why was I so nervous? Oh right, I'm about to have an interview with THE Valentin Chmerkovskiy to be his personal assistant. No pressure. I let out a sigh as a woman dressed in a white flowy top and black, penny skirt approached me. Ms. Booker? she asked. I nodded standing up. Mr. Chmerkovskiy will see you now. she said. I nodded. He's on the top floor. she said walking away. I rubbed my hands over my red dress and walked towards the elevator and pressed the up button key. I watched as the elevator reached the bottom floor and stepped inside. I pressed the 8th floor button and released another breath. I really need to calm down. I thought in my head as the elevator reached the top floor. I stepped out and walked up to the receptionist. I'm looking for Mr. Chmerkovskiy's office. I said in the most confident voice I could muster. Do you have an appointment? she asked. I nodded. I have an interview at 1:30. I said. She typed on her computer and nodded. He's expecting you. Straight down the hall, first door to your left. she said pointing. I nodded. Thank you. I replied with a smile. She nodded and smiled. Good luck. she replied as I walked towards the office. I stopped in front of a door that had the words Chmerkovskiy engraved in gold. I released a breath and knocked. A tall man answered the door. Can I help you? he asked. I have a meeting with Mr. Chmerkovskiy at 1:30. I replied. He nodded and turned his head. Mr. Chmerkovskiy, your 1:30 is here. he said. I could hear someone clear their throat. Send her in.
