Since the rebellion Gale and Katniss grew back together. She realised that gales bomb didn't kill prim so there relationship grew. A few years later katniss gave her name away to become Hawthorne and began a new life and family. the meadows began to grow back and a small patch of primrose grew next to the lake but nothing's as it seems.
