The wind in the Pale was a biting thing, carrying the scent of pine needles and old blood. S'vira Moon-Claw sat atop a moss-covered rock, her tail flicking rhythmically against the stone as she cleaned her blade. The Nord steel longsword, *Frostbite*, gleamed under the grey sky, free of the gore that had coated it only an hour prior. The bandit camp behind her was silent now, save for the crows beginning their descent upon the fallen. It had been a messy contract-six men who thought themselves hunters, only to become the hunted. But the gold in her pouch was heavy, and the silence of the dead was a comfort she cherished. She stood, her joints popping softly, the fur on her arms bristling against the chill. She adjusted her leather bracers, ensuring the throwing knives were secure, and scanned the tree line. That was when she heard it. Not the snap of a twig, but a whimper. A sound so small, so fragile, it cut through the ambient noise of the forest like a needle through silk. (spoiler alert for the story includes much of Vore and digestion)

The wind had been howling all morning-Zul'mar's voice sharp and cold, scattering ash in thin, stinging streams across the moor. The Clan of Ash had just returned from a border patrol that nearly ended in disaster: the riverbank had given way under the weight of the storm, and two apprentices had barely scrambled to safety. Everyone was tense, hungry, and raw with fear. It was the perfect moment for a hot head to think he knew better.

The morning air in the human realm was crisp, carrying the scent of damp asphalt and the faint, metallic tang of impending rain, though the sky above remained a stubborn, pale blue that refused to acknowledge the gloom gathering on the horizon. It was a Wednesday, a day typically reserved for the mundane trudge of mid-week academia, but for Nyrah Moon, every day was a test of patience against the sheer mediocrity of the world around her. She stood before the towering iron gates of Oakhaven High School, her figure cutting a stark silhouette against the rising sun. To the untrained eye, she appeared to be merely another student, albeit one with a penchant for dramatic flair and an wardrobe strictly adhering to the monochromatic spectrum of the void. But to those who looked closer-those who dared to peer past the veil of normalcy-the truth was far more unsettling, and far more magnificent.

The city of Markarth did not sleep; it merely held its breath. Carved directly into the living rock of the Karth River canyon, the city was a labyrinth of dwarven ruins repurposed by Nords, a place where the stone itself seemed to whisper secrets to those who knew how to listen. For Mary Jane, a traveler from the distant provinces who had found herself drawn to the harsh, unforgiving beauty of The Reach, the city was both a sanctuary and a prison. She was not a warrior, nor a mage of great renown. She was a scholar of obscure cultures, a woman who had spent her life studying the edges of morality and the depths of desire, seeking truths that polite society in Cyrodiil or Solitude refused to acknowledge. She stood now on the balcony of her rented quarters in the lower district, looking out over the churning white water of the Karth River below. The rain soaked her dark hair, plastering it to her cheeks, but she did not move to seek shelter. Her eyes were fixed on the towering structure of Understone Keep, the seat of power in Markarth, but her mind was elsewhere. It was fixed on the promise she had made three days prior, a promise that had led her down into the damp, moss-slicked tunnels beneath the city, into the domain of those who lived in the shadows of the stone.

The chrono-display on the wall of the Supreme Chancellor's former office, now repurposed as the Emperor's private sanctum within the towering spire of the Imperial Palace on Coruscant, flickered with a soft, amber glow. It was Monday, May 04, 2026, though in the galaxy far, far away, the date was recorded in the Imperial Calendar as 19 BBY, late autumn, just weeks after the conclusion of the Clone Wars and the formal establishment of the Galactic Empire. The time was 14:30 standard Coruscant time. Outside the massive transparisteel windows, the endless sprawl of the ecumenopolis stretched into the haze, a sea of durasteel and neon, choked by the smog of industry and the weight of absolute authority. Inside, the air was thick with the scent of ozone, polished marble, and the faint, metallic tang of fear that seemed to permeate the very walls of the Senate Building.

The silence in the apartment was not peaceful; it was heavy, a physical weight pressing against Rhea Callahan's eardrums, broken only by the low, rhythmic hum of the refrigerator and the distant, mournful wail of a siren three blocks east. The air smelled of stale coffee, lemon polish, and the metallic tang of ozone that seemed to permanently linger in Chicago since the Great Skirmish of '24. Rhea stood in the center of her living room, barefoot on the cold, polished concrete floors she had once loved for their industrial chic but now despised for their inability to hold warmth. She wore black leggings that hugged her athletic frame, the fabric worn thin at the knees from years of kneeling over design tablets and yoga mats, and a cropped black t-shirt with a faded graphic of a band that no longer existed, knotted tightly at her waist to expose the sharp line of her abdomen. Her hair, a jet-black bob cut with surgical precision, framed a face that was currently devoid of emotion, save for the hard, emerald-green glare fixed on the cardboard box labeled "GROOVE" in thick, red marker. Inside that box sat her turntable, a vintage Technics SL-1200MK2, modified with custom dampeners and a high-end Ortofon cartridge she had saved six months of freelance income to buy. It was not just a machine; it was Groove. It was the only thing in this city that had never lied to her, never betrayed her, and never asked her to compromise her integrity for a paycheck or a pat on the head. Beside the box sat a single, half-empty cup of iced coffee, the ice melted into a watery sludge, sweating onto a coaster that bore the logo of a tech startup that had gone bankrupt after its CEO was indicted for fraud. Rhea picked up the cup, took a sip of the diluted bitterness, and grimaced. It tasted like failure. It tasted like Chicago.

The mist hung heavy over the borderlands, a thick white veil that clung to the LEGO studs of the forest floor, obscuring the green baseplates beneath. It was early morning, the sun just beginning to pierce through the canopy of blocky trees, casting long, dramatic shadows across the terrain. The air was crisp, carrying the scent of damp earth and pine needles constructed from small green leaf elements. In the center of this tranquil yet tense landscape stood Ravvena. She was a striking figure against the muted greens and browns of the forest. Her black fur, rendered in glossy ABS plastic, seemed to absorb the soft morning light, while the red flame-like markings on her flanks glowed with an inner intensity. Her green eyes, sharp and unblinking, scanned the tree line ahead. She stood tall, her posture rigid and alert, embodying the title she had earned through blood and bone: Scourge of the East. Today, however, she wore another mantle, one heavier than any warrior's duty. She was the Regent Leader of the Cobra Clan. 🩸

Two months have passed since the surrender of Darth Sidious and the formal end of the Clone Wars. The galaxy is in a fragile but hopeful transition. The Republic, now led by Chancellor Bail Organa and Co-Chancellor Mon Mothma, is dismantling the war machine and rebuilding infrastructure. On Serenno, Lady Ahsoka Tano has consolidated her rule. The captured Separatist fleet was transferred to her command as part of the peace treaties. She selected the largest vessel, a heavily modified *Providence*-class carrier, refitted it with Republic tech, painted it in sleek black and orange, and named it the *Sovereign's Will*. It serves as her flagship and mobile headquarters. Her personal guard, the "Tano Guards," are elite droids built from repurposed MagnaGuard frames, programmed for loyalty and protection rather than aggression. Ahsoka's Padawan, Ganodi, is now **11 years old**. Though she has grown taller and more confident, her core personality remains unchanged: a curious, energetic Rodian who loves tinkering. She has built her own companion-a small, mechanical bird droid named "Sparky"-which follows her everywhere. Commander Slate, leader of the Castle Tano guards, has retired from active combat duty on Serenno. He married a Zabrak woman from Naboo, and they recently welcomed their son, Davin, a male Zabrak with a bright future ahead. The story begins in the cold void of space. Ahsoka Tano, aboard the *Sovereign's Will*, approaches the Sith world of Korriban. This mission is not one of conquest, but of understanding. Yoda has tasked her with investigating the ancient Sith Academy, hidden deep within the Valley of the Dark Lords. According to ancient maps, the Academy holds secrets about the nature of the Dark Side that could help the Jedi prevent future falls. Due to Korriban's intense magnetic storms and dark side interference, communication will be cut off. Ahsoka must rely on her instincts-and the mental link with Nya-to survive.
