Orchid calls herself dull, safe, boring, and not much of a risk taker. Her friends tease her about this to no end. Another thing about her: she doesn't like wizards. And that's because of their laws; the worst stating that contact between wizards and non-wizards is prohibited and punishable by death, and it is not the wizard who suffers. So, she's never met one. Doesn't care to, wouldn't dare to. Then she meets Zane, a young wizard who proves that everything she thought about his people was wrong. And it turns out they have a lot in common, including the lack of a risqué lifestyle. So the two secretly agree to take more risks. As they spend more and more time together, they slowly begin to form a bond that hasn't existed in many centuries... or so they thought. Sadly, not everyone is as open minded about their friendship as they wished when they're exposed. It seems people aren't ready for change yet, and Orchid and Zane learn this the hard way. A law has been broken after all, so someone has to be punished. Follow the Arrow is a tale of magic, adventure, and love. It's about two friends who not only want to provoke change in themselves, but in their world. Will they ultimately succeed, or fail and cause more damage than they ever could've imagined?
