This is the Story of Link becoming the Hero of the Wild. The Hero of Hyrule, and foremost the biggest Talk all over Hyrule. He was the strongest and best warrior, and it's obvious to anyone who knows Link, not everyone does, unfortunately. Even the person he has to protect with his life, later on, doesn't know him and only troubles his life even more. Having to fight against all the people you swore to protect is hard but Link can do it. Right? The characters are not owned by me they are from Nintendo, also this Story will play before the Calamity and it will also be a lot different than the original game. There is a similar (yet very different) idea written as a Story by @HylianAtHeart the Story is called "The Origin of a Champion" and it's one of the best Storys I've ever read. So check it out.

Alright ladies and gents, It's wedding season in Castle Town and on this season of the bachelor is non-other than the Hero of Time! Link has defeated Ganondorf and Hyrule has once again recaptured its' reign of peace and prosperity. Or has it? Mayhem has returned to the land of Hyrule as news sweeps the nation that the Hero of Time must be wed! The royal family will hold a competition/ball, and all are welcome to enter. However, our hero Link has only eyes for one girl... and that's you dear reader! (For the sake of the story we are going to pretend Zelda does not send Link back to the child timeline.) This is a Link x Reader romance and my first time writing something of this genre. There will be a PG-13 ending AND an NC-17 one. You are the Hylian champion, chosen to be so a century ago. Waking up in the Shrine of Resurrection is a shock, but having no memories to go along with that isn't helping. A lot of work needs to be done to rebuild Hyrule, and to convince others to help will take a lot of work from Link and Zelda. Having all his memories back, Link is plagued with thoughts and memories of the Champions, wishing he could go back in time and save them. He can't focus on the past too much though, because an incredible threat has woken up, and will certainly destroy Hyrule if nothing is done soon. Before the Great Calamity, Zelda and Link travel amongst Hyrule together. They must learn to tolerate each other on their journey. Zelda, having barely been able to leave the castle much before him, discovered her sense of adventure when she went out with Link. Is it possible that the two of them harbored a secret admiration for each other than ran deeper than friendship? Or would Link maintain his silence and not speak to the princess at all? This story flashes back from before and after the Great Calamity. What happens after Link defeats Calamity Ganon? This story is very long, but if I do say so myself, I think it's worth it!
