Johnny and I as romantic partners. Maybe that wouldn't be so bad... but we were just best buds like Steve and Soda. Shoot I forgot that they hooked up. (UNCONTINUED) This story takes place in an alternate universe in which Johnny survives the church fire and starts living with the Curtis brothers. About 2 years after The Outsiders takes place, Johnny goes through some extensive gait training and starts living with Ponyboy and his brothers. Ponyboy and Johnny both start to realize that they may have developed feelings for each other.

Steve may not be willing to accept the feelings he's been hiding for years. Soda may not be able to come to terms with the news about Sandy. Two-bit may know more than he should. And a very sick feeling and one bitch of a sunburn might just bring all of it to light. (Stevepop- angst, fluff, really little light smut)
