⌈ For the past decade, murders in Seoul, South Korea had been on the rise, specifically on major holidays. Each corpse was found in brutal, disgusting condition in a semi-obvious area - near the town hall, inside the city theater, against an apartment building. Places where anyone could see. But for the longest time, the police and detectives had nothing but theories of the 'jolly murderer'. The murder scenes never had footprints to trace, never had weaponry to swab for fingerprints, no evidence of another human being existing near the scene. The Seoul Police Department was baffled. Never had they ever seen such careful disposal of evidence when the bodies were found as mangled and ripped apart as they were. But their lead detective - Kim Hongjoong, was going to figure this out. Whether it took weeks, months, even years - he would. With his assistant's new acquaintance's help. Park Seonghwa was a criminal justice lawyer. Or at least that's what the public knew and saw. A respected, talented lawyer who has won multiple cases with his knowledge and skill at arguing. But everyone has a side they keep private. Even Seonghwa. ⌋
