Daniel was driving for F3 while Max was still karting but their friendship kept going even when both of them were driving for Formula 1. Until the day came when Max got a girlfriend, Kelly Piquet, and all of a sudden Max started avoiding Daniel. After a year (Daniel prefers to say that it was only a few months) Max finally spoke to Daniel and they became friends again. The only two questions left lingering after they became friends again is; Will they ever be able to be more? And why did Max really avoid Daniel for a year?
