Basically the deal is Mario gets to keep all his memories so he can help to ensure Luigis (Mr. L's) safety until he figures out a way to defeat Dimentio AND get his brother back and Dimentio knows that Mario won't betray him within this deal because Mario cares about his brother so much and would do anything to help keep him safe. This book will be angst, have some comedy in it, possibly some romance. Is this AU confusing? Maybe. But it's fun to write!
