After three years of endless match ups, set ups, blind dates. and not to mention two calls to, thankfully, female receivers, the summer of eleventh grade comes rolling by, and so does the fateful day of June 26th. All of this is put to the test when she and her best friend make a big "oopsie" in their friendship that leads to disastrous results. Nothing would ever be the same. Now all Violet has left is her iPod, her mom's blue hoodie, and...a rusty razor. Can Violet cope or will she fall down, too?

It's stupid, and one of my first books on here, so the plot and writing skills are amateur, please go and enjoy the sequel. You don't exactly have to read this book to understand the next one. So please, just go enjoy Falling Through The Surface which is onmy profile, and if you like that maybe go check out the third book of the series Touching The Surface!! Thanks. Enjoy book one of the Surface Trilogy. ** this book is based off the story Love like A Deliquent. It was supposed to be a fan fiction, but then it evolved and got its own plot. Keep your comments to yourself if you don't like. Thanks :) it is also dedicated to EmmaRawrz but the sequel has nothing to do with 3mmarawrz story.

Tragedies change people. That being said, it shouldn't come as a surprise that the accident changed Gemma. Anger problems seem like the only issue to her, but her father and evil step-mother see a lot more than that lying underneath. Unable to help her, they go to their last resort; they send her to Safe Haven, a summer camp for troubled teens. Haven is a place where misunderstood teenagers can realize their problems and work through them in a safe environment. At least, that's what Gemma thought. The first things that come are the notes. Each one is written with a specific message on it, targeting the accident that killed her best friend and blaming her. The next are the secrets; everyone has one. But does everyone have one about her? The threads start unraveling as Gemma searches for the person who's hurting her; the person who is trying to drive her insane. But the closer she comes to uncovering the secret, the closer she comes to realizing that not everyone is who they seem.
