"You should have told me before that you weren't interested in me" I yelled at my so called husband Samad. Tears were rolling down my cheeks. "Jawariyah please try to understand" Samad said but this time I won't. "From two years only I am trying to understand..... Only I am the one who's compromising... Why not you?" I questioned him. I know I was the one who was being harsh this time but that's enough. "Jawariyah.. You are not the only one who's compromising..." He yelled as his jaws clinched and he pulled me closer.. Closer to his body.. His chest... His heart.. *********************************** They both are married to each other but are totally diff: She's sweet, kind, beautiful, caring and afraid.. Afraid of anger afraid of loneliness... Scared of darkness... and most importantly she's weak! She can't stand up fo herself. He's arrogant, rude, angry, bitter, a psychopathic lover... He's all what she hated.. He's rich.. He's handsome.. If you're looking for sweet romance this is not it. Mistakes.. Misunderstandings.. Miseries.. All these three words would shatter their life.. Their love.

Fern thought marriage meant partnership, love, and the quiet safety of family. For four years she's tried to believe that-tried to ignore the sharp edges of a mother-in-law who never wanted her, an ex who had moved too close for comfort and a husband who is always looking the other way. But when her husband's negligence leaves their little girl in a hospital bed with burns on her hand, Fern can no longer swallow the excuses. She is done being the afterthought in her own marriage. Her husband Conner insists he loves her, but love doesn't keep a child safe. Love doesn't silence a mother-in-law's whispers or stop an ex from poisoning the air of every family gathering. Love isn't enough-not when Fern's entire world has been built on the shaky ground of compromise. And as the fractures in their marriage widen into fault lines, Fern has to face the question she's been afraid to ask- What if walking away is the only way to save herself and her daughter?

Alessia had rules. She didn't do drama, didn't take nonsense from any man. Until him. For Cassian, she broke every one. A cliché, impossible mother in law? She handled it. Missed dinners because of work? She served herself double and waited anyway. Too tired to spend time together? She embraced the quiet hours alone. She forgot her limits, abandoned her rules. All for him. Until her. The one rule she couldn't break, the limit she couldn't cross. She saw him with her. Broken, she left and whispered a wish she never thought would come true: that she had never met him. The wish was granted. Alessia woke up and didn't remember him. But now Cassian is the one waiting. Running against time to be near her. Chasing every moment, following every rule, just so she might remember him again. And if she can't... Can he remember it all for both of them? © IcecreamSundae5. "I have never done this before." he whispered while cupping her face. "Me too" she said looking at his eyes. "What? You... You have... I thought..." he stammered. Her eyes widened in realization of what he could have thought about her. "Don't tell me you also believed in the rumors our office talking about." she chided at him. "I... I am sorry. It didn't matter to me. And it doesn't matter what your past was. So I didn't take into consideration of other possible ways." he tried to explain his blunder mistake of touching her nerve. She shook her head at disappointment. "I thought you are different from others. But no. Even you also thought so low me. Just leave." she pointed her hand towards the door. "Please understand. I didn't mean it like that." he wanted to tell her why he thought like that. He never believed in rumors when he himself was victim of a gossiping group. "Whatever it is we will talk tomorrow. I want to be alone. So leave now" she whisper yelled as she didn't want to wake her baby sleeping in adjacent room. ***************************************** A short story about how two lonely hearts are destined to end up with each other.
