Bruce Wayne always believed retirement would mean quiet mornings, shared dinners, and the comfort of seeing his children grow into their own lives. And for a while, it looked exactly like that. Tim running the company. Dick protecting his own city. Damian drifting between Paris and Gotham. Jason appearing in flashes of calm. Cassandra carving out a life beyond the shadows. They were busy, independent, and-he told himself-happy. But they were also different. They visited more often. Stayed longer. Walked with him through the gardens. Ate with him at the manor. Laughed with him in ways that felt almost rehearsed. They were always there-present, attentive, impossibly available. It should have been everything Bruce ever wanted. Until the night he overheard a conversation he was never meant to hear. Bruce has always known his children kept secrets. Vigilantes lived double lives; it came with the mask. But this was something else-something deeper, something they were hiding from him. And the greatest detective alive can't ignore the truth forever. Now, as the walls between their carefully separated lives begin to crack, Bruce is forced to confront a question he never expected to ask: What happens when the secrets his children guard so fiercely begin to collide with the family they're trying so desperately to protect?

Jason Todd was done being the family disappointment. Every mistake, every failure, every shadow in Gotham somehow landed on his shoulders. He had tried-God, he had tried-to make amends, to be better, to be seen. But in the Wayne household, he was always the one blamed, always the one expected to fall. After one final explosive argument, Jason made a promise: he would leave Gotham and never return. Not for Bruce. Not for the family that never believed in him. Only the Outlaws would know how to reach him. The rest could keep pretending he was still lurking in Crime Alley, too loyal-or too broken-to ever walk away. They were wrong. Within a week, Jason vanished without a trace. His journey took him far from Gotham's shadows to the quiet streets of Amity Park, a place he hadn't meant to stay... until he met her. Jazz Fenton was brilliant, compassionate, and carrying her own scars. She wasn't intimidated by his past or blinded by his reputation. She saw him-really saw him-and Jason fell harder than he ever expected. In her, he found peace. In Amity Park, he found a home. And while Gotham searched for a ghost they assumed was still theirs, Jason built a life they never imagined he could have... and one he would protect at any cost.

Danielle Fenton thought she had already survived the worst the Ghost Zone could throw at her. At eighteen, she expected college applications, part‑time jobs, and maybe a quiet chance at normalcy. Instead, her life shatters again when two impossible figures crash back into her world: a corrupted future version of herself and a clone engineered from her stolen DNA. Vlad's experiments were far darker than she ever imagined. The clone wasn't just made from her-he carried Vlad's DNA as well. And when Danielle fought to save both the unstable clone and her twisted future self, a violent collision of ghost energy changed everything. She woke to find herself pregnant with twins: the reborn clone and the purified future version of herself, both carrying traces of Vlad's ghostly imprint. Motherhood at eighteen wasn't part of her plan, but Danielle refuses to let her children become weapons or experiments. She cuts Vlad out of their lives completely, allowing him nothing but the bare minimum of legal responsibility. Her twins-a boy and a girl-become her entire world, and with the help of her friends, she builds a fragile new life around them. Romance is the last thing she expects. Yet when her twins turn one, a chance encounter with Tim Drake‑Wayne sparks something she hasn't felt in years: hope. A single night together leaves her with another child on the way, but she never learns his name... not until three years later, when fate brings them face‑to‑face again. Tim discovers he has a child. Danielle discovers the man she fell for is a Wayne. And together, they must navigate ghosts, secrets, and the tangled threads of a future that refuses to stay buried-while trying to build a family strong enough to survive it.

Danny Fenton is more than just a halfa - he's a meta, too. But when the portal both kills him and brings out the cat meta gene he didn't know he had, he discovers he's a catboy in both ghost and human forms. Now his parents think he's a ghost no matter what form he's in, and with every terrible day that goes by, he's treated a little more like the animal (monster) his parents think he is. - Damian Wayne doesn't have the meta gene, but he definitely got the adoption one.

Bruce Wayne always knew his children would grow up-but he never expected growing up to mean growing away. With Tim running the company, Dick rooted in his own city, Damian drifting between Gotham and Paris, Jason stepping back from vigilantism, and Cassandra carving out her own path, the once‑crowded manor has become strangely quiet. Marriage to Selina was supposed to mark a new chapter, a softer one. Retirement should have meant rest, family dinners, and time finally spent together. Instead, Bruce finds himself with more free hours than ever... and fewer children to share them with. But the world's greatest detective can't ignore the truth forever. His children aren't just busy-they're hiding something. Each of them. Their social media goes dark the moment they leave Gotham. Their "vacations" and "errands" lead nowhere. Their trails vanish completely, as if they step into another life the second they cross city limits. Bruce has spent decades protecting them. Now, for the first time, he wonders if they're the ones protecting him. And secrets-especially Wayne secrets-never stay buried for long. When the hidden lives his children have built begin to collide, the fragile distance between them shatters. What rises from the wreckage will test the Batfamily in ways no villain ever could. Because the greatest threat to the Waynes isn't lurking in Gotham's shadows. It's the truth they've been keeping from each other.

Dadhood Jason Todd has long since stopped pretending he belongs to the Batfamily. How could he, after nearly killing their newest Robin in a moment of Lazarus-fueled rage? Even as the Pit's influence dulls to a constant, caged snarl inside him, the damage is done. Forgiveness was never offered. Redemption was never on the table. So Jason does what he's always done: survives. He builds an empire in Gotham's underbelly, carving out order where the heroes only ever left chaos. He tells himself he doesn't need Bruce, or Dick, or any of them. He tells himself he doesn't miss being someone's son, someone's brother. Then he finds a kid-alone, hungry, feral in the way only Gotham's forgotten can be-and something in him snaps into place. Instinct. Memory. A legacy he never asked for but can't seem to shake. Taking the boy in isn't part of the plan. Neither is caring. But Jason Todd has always been terrible at following the rules, especially the ones he writes for himself. Maybe monsters don't crave connection. Maybe they don't build families out of broken pieces. But Jason does. And for the first time in years, he wonders if that makes him something else entirely.
