Giyu Tomioka has finally finished off his years of spy school, only to receive the most disappointing news for his first mission. Training a young girl named Shinobu Kocho who's extremely brash and stubborn. He doesn't want to babysit, but eventually, life eases on him, and he's left with a choice, to follow passion or heart. Until their sent on a mission with a zero success rate but is the only thing that keeps the world together. Everything at HQ has been screwed up. And the time is ticking before world destruction starts. But characters never get what they want, do they?

Shinobu Kocho and Giyu Tomioka live their lives in complete boredom. Their lives weren't the most interesting, and they continued to live their normal lives. On the first day of December, their life's entwine one day when Giyu almost crashes his car into Shinobu after a breakup. Together, they manage to light up each others lives like none before. Mitsuri, a mutual friend of Shinobu and Giyu, playfully challenged Shinobu to make Giyu fall in love with her-a bet Shinobu accepted with unwavering confidence. However, as Shinobu spent time with Giyu, she discovered that he was more than just a logical law enthusiast. Beneath his calm exterior, he was kind, considerate, and surprisingly gentle.
