Ashley expected her biggest problem to be getting out of bed. Instead, she wakes up on a glitter‑soaked beach with a glowing number on her thigh and a world that behaves like a chaotic mash‑up of every genre ever written. As she mutters, "I've woken up inside a screensaver," it becomes clear this island isn't just strange - it's alive, and it has plans for her. Assigned a magical‑girl sidekick and a shirtless romance hero she never asked for, Ashley is dragged into a narrative ecosystem where zombies bring chocolates, coconuts explode on emotional cues, and the sky changes "the vibe" every night. The island is a shifting story engine, constantly rewriting itself - and Ashley is the anomaly it can't control. When a mysterious figure known as the Shadowed One begins corrupting and collapsing entire story worlds, Ashley and her mismatched party are pulled into a quest that spans fairytales, sci‑fi wastelands, gothic castles, candy kingdoms, and forgotten books where abandoned protagonists decay into monsters. In one such world, she faces a creature "cloaked in paper," a tragic remnant of a story no one finished. As the island fractures, Ashley discovers the truth: the system behind this world consumes stories, rewrites characters, and erases anything that doesn't fit its rules - including her. To save Evelyn, a girl whose fairy tale is being dismantled, and to rescue her own friends scattered across broken narratives, Ashley must confront the island's Moderators, the bureaucratic enforcers of plot. Armed with nothing but sarcasm, stubbornness, and a refusal to follow clichés, Ashley fights back against a world determined to script her fate. But the deeper she goes, the more she realises the island isn't just rewriting stories - it's rewriting her. And if she can't break the cycle, she'll become just another forgotten protagonist.

Welcome to Madam President Writes This is my little online playground for short stories, poems, and random thoughts about life. Some pieces are silly, some are serious, and some are just here to make you smile or think for a moment. I like mixing things up - a dash of humour, a pinch of mystery, and the occasional twist you didn't see coming. You never know if the next post will make you laugh, give you goosebumps, or leave you daydreaming. Grab a cup of coffee, get comfy, and have a wander. The words are waiting. These poems represent my original work. I kindly request that you refrain from copying, reposting, or utilising them without prior permission. I trust that you will find enjoyment in reading them, as they have been created with careful consideration, thoughtfulness, and a deep respect for diverse creative expressions.

Tariro finds herself trapped in a cycle of grief, burdened by the loss of her grandmother. However, when she saves a child from a fire, her reality begins to fracture. Shadows whisper, lost voices beckon, and memories thought long buried resurface-her childhood school, the fire that inexplicably spares her, and a radiant garden where someone she recognises awaits. Camilla, Sophia, and Mia stand before her, their laughter turning into solemn goodbyes. The fog thickens. Time warps. The past unravels, pushing Tariro towards the truth she has been trying to avoid. As doubts consume her, she reaches a crossroads. Will she confront and heal from her grief, or will she remain unchanged? Yet the whispers persist. The shadows continue to linger. In the spaces between memory and reality, something is still waiting for her.
