Juri never wanted adventure. He never dreamed of having a Pokémon, making friends, or leaving behind the quiet solitude of his apartment-his sanctuary. He was perfectly content in his own little world. But when money troubles force him to rethink his future, he takes a chance and enrolls at Naranja Academy and, lucky for him, receives a full scholarship. What starts as a simple plan to get by soon spirals into something much bigger. His once-quiet life is upended by new friendships, unexpected battles, and a fight he never asked to be part of. Now, Juri must make a choice: keep running from the world or stand and fight for the people-and Pokémon-who have given him something worth holding on to. Disclaimer: Contains depiction of blood, self harm, depression, struggles, torture. Reader discretion is advised. (I don't own Pokémon or Pokémon characters. This is just a fanfiction from the eyes of my OC)

Are all Pokemon equal in some sense? Most people would say no and that it's ridiculous to believe that. I personally agree with them. Various things play into a Pokemons strength, such as type advantages and disadvantages. These allow them to survive attacks comfortably that would otherwise result in a KO, for example a Geodude is completely immune to electric attacks and poison attacks only do a fourth of what they should. This allows most battles to almost entirely rely on type advantages. Even ignoring type advantages and disadvantages all Pokemon have different things contributing to their strength, one of these things is base stat total. Another example involves two of the Kanto starters, Charmander, the fire starter, had a base stat total of 309, while Squirtle, the water starter, has a base stat total of 314. This difference along with Charmander having a weakness to water will always mean that Squirtle should win any battle. Throughout all of my learning of Pokemon I have come to the conclusion that some Pokemon are born strong, while others simply aren't. It may be cruel and unfair but that is the truth. COTE with pokemon obviously. All rights go to respective creators 🥇-Ayanokouji 🥇- May 🥇 - Horikita 🥉- Pokemon 🥇 -Dawnberlitz 🥈-purple 🥇- Charmander 🥇- Nagumo 🥇- Kiyopon 🥇- Cote 🥇- Ayanokoji

The Sinnoh region holds many tales about the great and beautiful Cynthia, the reigning Champion. She was renowned for being a Dragon Master, and her Dragon-type Pokemon were enough to bring others to their knees. This Champion was known as the greatest trainer in all of Sinnoh and also as one of the greatest in the world. But what about her family? Vali, the son of Cynthia, is fifteen and doesn't have a Pokemon. From ten-year-olds to literal preschoolers, there seems to be no end to the amount of new Pokemon Trainers each day. Ever since that day when Ash Ketchum won against his mother in the World Coronation Series, when she started to show more interest in her duties as a Champion and as a Trainer than her own family, Vali started to dislike Pokemon in general, as they remind him of her. But when a fateful encounter with a Pokemon ends up saving his life, something lingering inside of him awakens and reminds him who he truly is. But is this really enough to bring back the love that he used to have for Pokemon? Vali will soon find himself caught in the center of dangerous activities. He must go through powerful Trainers, girls, dangerous Pokemon, discover the secrets of his past and bloodline, and confront his mother. (This all takes place five years after the master's 8.)
