Hawks had been hospitalized for a long time after the fight and his wings had still not properly regrown. At first he thought Dabi had burned them beyond repair but his feathers were slowly coming back, taking their sweet time. However he didn't anticipate getting a visitor one night when he was taking a walk trough the city. A complicated story on how they fought and fell for each other. //COMPLETED// . . . Hua Cheng certainly changed a lot during his absence, but his personality and love for Xie Lian are still as steadfast and deep as they always had been. Inside this forest, he found a pagoda, which he soon realised functioned as a gate of sorts that, once he stepped through it, led him to discover more about his kingdom, as well as himself, than he'd ever hoped to learn. And to think he only wanted to reunite with his family as soon as possible... Spoilers for all 5 books!!!!
