TW : Blood, stabbing, shooting, getting shot, maybe smut? drunk, swearing, and a lot of gayness nik and price has been friends since they both started in the military at the age of 18 (price) & 20 (nik), they have been pulling pranks and gossiping about the soldiers, they still do even though price is now the captain and nik is a pilot. the flirting tension has been growing a lot, at first it was a joke, but no one, not even themselves, think its a joke anymore, price has been sitting awfully close to nik and nik has been sitting awfully close to price, they've joked about kissing and making out even though they never did, they wish they actually did but none of them had the courage to, and they've just flirted a lot in general. in a few days (aka chapters) its niks birthday, maybe its time they tell the truth there?

The new guy in the 141, Soap, doesn't have a filter when it comes to flirting. Ghost has no idea how to cope with that. He can't afford to lose face in front of his peers, so he decides to just... play along. The problem is, they keep getting closer, so Soap decides they must be dating. In fact, it is so obvious, everyone agrees- everyone but oblivious Ghost. He is just happy to make a friend, to finally be able to share his past with someone, until he slowly realizes his feelings are growing into much more than friendship. Simon accidentally teaches him that he's worth something the way he is. That love isn't taking someone down a notch. That he deserves better. Simon and John are based on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II's Simon "Ghost" Riley and John "Soap" Mactavish but this takes place in an au where they are both ex military but did not previously know each other. TW: Depiction of domestic violence (not between Ghost and Soap), and suicidal ideation
