They both come to realize how they feel about each other and they begin to fall for one another. As the war was not yet over they ignore these feelings and avoid each other. When the war finally ends they begin to grow closer in secret without anyone knowing. What will all their friends think when they find out... how will Aang react. This is something none of them ever thought would happen. I do not own the rights, but it is my plot. Both fire and water elements can be driven by passion & it a appears they may have more in common than they think. This will differ from the shows plot and timeline but I will do my best to stay true to the characters. I didn't wish for her to be humiliated in front of my court. ************************************** After Katara is separated from her brother, she finds herself wandering alone in the unforgiving adult world, and soon to the Fire Nation Capital. After consistently finding trouble she is held captive, cut off from any news circulating in the world, before she is sold off to another unfortunate future the spirits could only tell you about. Shortly after Katara finds herself being presented to the new Fire Lord, Fire Lord Zuko. Tempted by the simple sight of her, Zuko cannot decide if he should let her go or keep her locked away forever. Our story takes place from the "Crossroads of Destiny" episode. While you may notice some key/similar parts, moving forward from this point in the show everything has been set on a new path.

After the war, Katara is sick of following Aang around, she is sick of being called 'the avatar's girl' as if she was only some prize and not the powerful water and blood bender that she is. So Katara leaves the avatar and her destiny takes her deep into the Fire Nation where she meets a famed Blue Spirit that needs her help.
