Run. That's what they told, no, ordered her to do. They held the weapons, she held nothing. She was a mere slip of a girl, but they had no clue who she was, or anything about her, except that she was unarmed and no match for them. An easy chase to help work up an appetite, right? But they hadn't expected her to be Fast. *** Amber wobbled. Time seemed to slow down as he started to turn towards her. She wobbled again, when, with a large CRASH, the crate broke, and Amber fell on top of him. "Oof!" The assassin acted instinctively. As she fell, he rapidly turned around, grabbed her wrists, and caught her. *** Warning: some strange humour, some flirtation, and violence. Swearing has been adapted. Set in some sort of fantasy steampunk version of the 17th century in a country(City?) named Moglux, (NOT EARTH) We follow our main heroine as she struggles within herself, sharing the exact same space with another called Raven, encounters horrifying murders, suitors who just can't take a hint, meets an underground force called the Raiders who have taken an interest in her and tries to untangle the confusion layer of society which calls themselves Nobility. A/N: I'm using part of a story I wrote a while back, and expanding on it. I'm not entirely sure where I'm going with this, although I have a vague idea. Chapterlengths will vary strongly at times, (but with good reason), but generally I write 1000+ words, the POV will probably switch here and there. Enjoy!I do my best to work on it whenever able Don't be afraid to comment, vote on anything you enjoy, and, as always, Happy Reading! Special thanks to @vevlvn for the AMAZING cover :3

(Book 1 of the Procrastinators Series, set in September 2013) Mia Roberts has been on YouTube for years, and over the past two years in particular, she's been vlogging(video blogging) about her life under the name of RandomQuartz. With RandomQuartz as an alias, Mia has managed to keep her internet identity a secret from her close circle of friends, but not to date. One September morning, when Mia is set to meet a friend of a friend at her local park, her whole perspective of and her position within the YouTube community is changed, just by conversing with that one person. As a new found friend, he's willing to introduce Mia to aspects of YouTube life she didn't know were possible. If he can change so much for her with his connections, could he potentially guide her by the hand to meet her favourite YouTubers, AmazingPhil and Danisnotonfire? What would happen then? Would she faint? Fangirl? Or maybe, fall in love? (NB: I do not own any songs, quotes, shops, fandoms, brands or any of the YouTubers' rights mentioned in my story) ALL RIGHTS OTHERWISE RESERVED, Copyright © EmmaChameleon Fluffy fic. Contains swearing, some dark thoughts, and talk of depression. *Watty Awards 2013 Finalist* I APOLOGISE IF SOME OF THIS DOESN'T MAKE SENSE BUT THIS STORY IS MID-EDIT

Elliot is, and has always been, stuck in his home town. Sure, it's a fairly large city. Sure, all his family and friends are there. Sure, he has a job he absolutely adores. But he still isn't happy. No matter how much he loves working in Auntie Mae's Tea shop, baking cakes day in and day out, he can't find it in himself to be happy. He knows exactly what's wrong; he has a dream. His dream is to one day move to Paris and open his own bakery. Baking is his passion, and he wants to devote his life to it. The only problem is that he can't seem to get away from his current life to start a new one. He once told himself his studies were holding him back. When he was done with those, he used the excuse of renovating the entire Tea Shop. Then, when he finally couldn't find any more excuses, he gave up. He knew he was waiting for something to happen. The problem? He didn't know what. But what about that man who recently started visiting the shop? He definitely wasn't one of the regulars; his face, you would recognize. He comes every evening at six o'clock, and stays for an hour. Could he be what Elliot is waiting for? *Deals with self-esteem issues which I've been told might be triggering*
