L'état de Bonace. Eng. Translation: The state of peace before a storm right next to the ocean Alexandria Nimue Merlin was a simple girl, really. She loves her family more than life itself, and she is rather focused on reading her classic literature rather than spending time listening to her teachers. All that she ever wanted was to be one of those Disney princesses she saw on television. How one day someone charming will sweep her off her feet, and she will learn to love. Curiously, on her eleventh birthday, she received a rather odd letter. She got accepted to this school of wizardry, the same school her cousin Lily Evan frequented. Time passes on, and Alexandria is currently in her sixth year at Hogwarts. Normally, a girl like Alexandria should be worried about her clothes, boys, and her grades. But, no. The year is 1977, the year of the snake. Hogwarts is no longer the same, with the growing threat of the Dark Lord and the Death Eaters creeping into everyday life. Regulus Arcturus Black, the secondborn of the noble house of Black. All his life, he has been dedicated to being the perfect son, to fill the empty gap that his older brother had left behind. In high society, he is the ideal son. But one thing he cannot help is falling in love with a Muggle-born girl. One who has absolutely no interest in him at all. L'état de Bonace. The story of Alexandria Merlin and Regulus Black before the wizarding world crashes before them. If I do not get kidnapped, I post on Sundays. Two years after the war that shattered his world, James Potter is stuck in place. Grief lingers in the quiet moments, in the weight of his son's laughter, in the ghosts of what could have been. He tells himself the life he has built for himself is enough- just him, Harry and the friends who refuse to let him slip too far. Then comes Olive Beaufort. A potions apprentice with warmth in her voice and kindness in her hands, she drifts into their lives with no agenda, no expectations. She isn't trying to fix anything- or anyone, but she is something new. Harry adores her instantly. And James, despite himself, isn't immune to her presence either. As October fades and Halloween looms- the day that too almost everything from him- James finds himself caught between the past and an uncertain future. But maybe, just maybe, healing doesn't come all at once. Maybe it starts in small moments, in unexpected places and friendships, in Rainy Days and Mondays that don't feel so heavy anymore. (1983-onwards) (James Potter x OC) (Multiple POV's)

― "I love you more than life itself," ― Althea Potter had always been a light. Where James burned wild and reckless, she glowed warm and steady, drawing people in with her laughter, her kindness, and her stubborn belief that everyone carried a spark worth loving. She was the sister who brightened shadows, the girl who never let anyone feel unseen. Regulus Black, on the other hand, was born of shadows. Cold where she was warm, distant where she was tender, sharp where she was soft-he was a boy sculpted by duty, drowning beneath the weight of a name that demanded silence, obedience, sacrifice. They were opposites, orbiting each other in disdain. She saw him as cruel and unfeeling, and he saw her as naïve and foolish. Yet the world has a way of binding the unwilling, and war makes strange companions of enemies. Slowly, through whispered arguments and stolen glances, Althea discovered the boy beneath the mask, and Regulus found himself yearning for the light he had spent his life rejecting. But love in times of war is fragile. It does not always save. Sometimes it destroys, quietly, beautifully, tragically. And when the end came-as it always would-they both learned that hatred can turn to love, and love can burn into something fiercer still. Something unshakable. Something eternal. Something that could only be called devotion. ☽。⋆

Amid the war, Elizabeth Potter is starting her sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where she is a Gryffindor Prefect. When school rules change, and require that Prefects must be grouped with those from other houses, Elizabeth is paired with none other than Regulus Black. She quickly grows to loathe him, and is positive that nothing could change her feelings... No matter how intriguing she may find him. - Elizabeth Potter hated Regulus Black. She hated his snide comments, and his perfect posture. She hated his compulsive silence, and his strategically messy hair. She hated his dark, cold gaze, and his towering height. She couldn't stop thinking about him. -
