Something in him calls to her and even when he pushes her away, acts rashly and violently towards others and does horrible things. she loves him. But she knows she has to guard her heart before he breaks it. Can she ever convince him that she is not going to abandon him because of the way he behaves and that he deserves love and happiness. Damon is drawn to Ember like he never has been to another woman in 180 years, not even Katherine. Her kindness, cleverness and loyalty fascinate him, but he is convinced he can never be worthy of her. Stefan has always been the golden child, the one everyone loved and wanted, but amazingly it was him that Ember wanted. Can he be the man she deserves and prove to her that he will always be there for her.
