Nico had a girlfriend who he thought died but shows up at camp. Then (to add a strange plot twist) she finds out her father isn't her mortal parent?! Her mother died at a young age so she was stuck with her only relative, her uncle, who hates her.

Meghan and Nico are being brought back out of the Lotus Hotel and Casino by Percy. Six months have passed and nothing has really changed. Almost. A new camper has arrived only half a day after they get back and she says she wasn't alone. She said she traveled with a companion, one who didn't want to come into Camp Half-Blood. One who was female, with long dark brown hair, bright purple eyes, and blue glasses. One who she met on the streets of a small town in Oregon.
