"Solace From Strangers" is a non-fiction series where I interview various people and get to know them. Everyone is someone. Nobody is an NPC or an extra in the background. With this series, I hope to put a spotlight on the people that you might walk past on the street or see in a car that you pass by on the freeway. I want everyone to realize that we all have our own story. I decided to keep an online journal in an effort to get back into the flow of writing and to have a presence online. In this journal, I will talk about my experiences with the Backcountry Trails Program (BCTP), the California Conservation Corps (CCC), college experiences, and other things that I may come across during the next year.
