Tommy Oliver along with his wife Kimberly Oliver were in Japan enjoying their 5th year anniversary. While walking they heard someone crying as they saw pudies around the kid. They went to help as one puffy managed to get to the kid but the next moment he used the Tiger Roar sending him back. Tommy and Kimberly knew this is the kid for being told by the prophecy about the chosen one to wield all red rangers powers. The kid's name is Izuku Yagi as he was all beaten up. He told them about him being neglected by his parents and abused by his twin sister and friends. Zordon appears with the Red Morphin Master, and they tell them that Izuku is the chosen one. Izuku asks if he could become a hero with this power, and they say yes making him happy.
