After everything at Tong'lu, Xie Lian, Mu Qing, and Feng Xin are getting along better than even before the first ascension. Something takes advantage of this delicate new beginning to attack Mu Qing. There's a sexual assault (first chapter), but it's not graphic and mostly off-stage. Explicit stuff will be consensual. I'm trying to subvert some noncon tropes. He decides to befriend him first but he also secretly wishes to win him over one day. This is the story from Tian Guan Ci Fu/ Heaven Official's Blessing told from the perspective of Hua Cheng. This is of course a major SPOILER for everyone who didn't read all the 8 books. The only thing that will not be spoiled is who the White Calamity is. I want to keep it as close to the original as possible but close some gaps like how he obtained the red pearl, how he found out the prince ascended etc... The dialogues are partly 1:1 from the book but with additional thoughts of Hua Cheng. This changes of course his character as he isn't as calm as he appears from Xie Lian's perspective. He is overthinking, is overwhelmed by his feelings sometimes and fangirling quite a lot. I mean...come on he is in love with his crush for so many years. And he also has some fantasies. So there will be some smut, but nothing too explicit. And no, I will not make him a pervert, he is not doing it with the statues.
