"Lando," Oscar interrupted softly. "Whatever Lance and I had, it was nothing compared to this." Lando looked at him, hope and uncertainty warring in his expression. "This?" Oscar gestured between them, at the space that felt charged with possibility. "This. You. Us. Whatever this is." Oscar Piastri has spent his entire life believing he was alone. Half bunny. Hidden tail. Enhanced senses. Heat cycles. A secret that could destroy everything if the wrong person ever found out. Formula 1 is the last place someone like him should exist. Until one morning, everything changes. His werewolf teammate has questions. His incubus friend already knows more than he should. An Astral, a Phoenix, a Storm Bringer-and suddenly the grid is filled with people hiding impossible truths behind race suits and cameras. As friendships deepen, instincts awaken, and fate begins weaving lives together in ways none of them expected, Oscar discovers that perhaps the greatest secret isn't that monsters exist... It's that none of them were ever monsters at all.

Oscar is just another engineering student trying to survive university, keep his head down, and get through life one day at a time. Lando is a popular Twitch streamer balancing his online persona with his studies, chaos, and a life that never really slows down. They weren't supposed to collide. But when Oscar starts getting quieter, more tired, and harder to read with each passing week, Lando can't help but notice. Something is wrong, and Oscar is getting very good at pretending it isn't. Between late-night streams, campus chaos, and growing suspicion, Lando starts piecing together that Oscar is hiding something far bigger than he's letting on. Because while they're living normal lives, a Formula 1 driver is quietly taking over the season, and it's starting to feel like everything is connected in ways neither of them understand. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Warning: contains panic attacks, anxiety, and emotional/trauma-related themes

Oscar Piastri has always been easy to love. Quiet. Kind. Brilliant. The sort of person who remembers birthdays, explains assignments, and stays late to help everyone else, even when nobody asks. At university, surrounded by friends who have become family, Oscar should be happy. So why does he feel like he's taking up too much space? As the pressure of university mounts and old insecurities begin to feel louder than they used to, Oscar starts to disappear in ways no one quite notices. A missed coffee. An empty seat. A smile that doesn't reach his eyes. And by the time his friends realize something is wrong, it may already be too late. Because sometimes people don't leave all at once. Sometimes they leave a little at a time. And sometimes the hardest question isn't why someone left- It's who made them believe they had to.

❝ Lando attaches the blushy, pouty photo and sends it, then locks his phone and drops it onto the carpet beside him, staring up at the ceiling. There's a pause, stretching suspiciously long. A faint click echoes through the call. Mute. Then unmute again. "Sorry," OP says when he comes back, his voice rougher now. "Thought someone was at the door."❞ Or: Lando loses an F1 championship and signs up for a charity Minecraft speedrunning tournament to cope with his existential crisis. Turns out his coach, faceless speedrunning champion OP81, might be a bit of a fanboy.

Lando Norris is the campus celebrity-streamer, showman, always surrounded by laughter and admirers. Yet, no matter how many fans orbit him, his gaze fixes on one boy. He sneaks into classes he doesn't belong in, always with chocolate milk just for excuses, and blurts it out without shame. "I want you." Oscar Piastri isn't like the others. He's quiet, focused, an archer on scholarship who builds his life out of discipline. Where Lando is loud, Oscar is steady. Where Lando craves attention, Oscar avoids it. And every time Lando appears at his side, Oscar pushes him back. "What do you want from me this time?" Oscar demands, arms crossed. But things shift when Lando hits a breaking point-his manuscript thrown away, his heart cracked open in front of George and Max. Rumors flood the internet after a livestream slip, whispers of "Landoscar" spreading faster than either can stop. Oscar watches from the shadows, jealousy gnawing at him when Paul or even Kimi hover too close. He does things he swore he wouldn't. Saves the manuscript, copies notes for Charles just to get Lando's address. "I want-Lando's home address." Charles blinked in disbelief. "No. Nope. Not you. You'd never pull a stunt like this. You. Hate. Lando." But hate was never the truth. Jealousy was. Fear was. And when Oscar showed up at Lando's apartment, the walls finally broke. "O-Oscar...?" Lando whispered, clinging to the doorframe. And in the quiet of that moment, he admits the words he's hidden for too long. Oscar confesses, his voice trembling. Oscar wants Lando to choose him. Still. Always. And then-raw, unfiltered, aching- "I've lost. I've fallen for you. Again and again. I can't fight it anymore." Reality was messy, though. Promises whispered with hooked pinkies, nights tangled on the sofa in pajamas. "You're sure, none of this is from some stupid dare?"

𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 ❗️ This novel contains themes that may be distressing to some readers, including drug use, alcoholism, mental health struggles, adult content, and broken family dynamics. Content warnings will be provided at the beginning of relevant chapters. However, reader discretion is advised, as it is ultimately your choice to continue reading 𝐍𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐋 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 For nearly two years, Lando Norris had run a luxury bar in the heart of the city - a place of music, laughter, and carefully poured distractions. Locals loved him, and his bar quickly became a refuge for those looking to unwind after long days. That stability shatters when Oscar Piastri opens a therapy clinic directly above the bar. Almost overnight, Lando begins losing his regulars - people who now choose healing over drinking. At the same time, Oscar watches his patients struggle, relapsing the moment they step outside and hear the pulse of music from downstairs. Each man becomes the other's problem, a constant reminder of everything they disagree on. They clash over principles, over responsibility, over what it means to help someone survive. Different mindsets. Different ways of coping. Neither willing to concede. Until a teenage girl named Eveline forces their paths to cross in ways neither of them can ignore. Bound by circumstance and an uneasy truce, Lando and Oscar are pushed into reluctant cooperation. And in the quiet moments between closing time and opening hours, they begin to see past assumptions - learning that care comes in many forms, and healing is rarely as simple as choosing the right door.

Two men, shaped by the same law school halls-though never quite side by side. Lando Norris was always a step ahead, a senior others admired without question. Oscar Piastri watched from a distance-through subtle glances across lecture rooms, shared silences in late-night study sessions, and a quiet admiration he never quite voiced. Oscar believed in rules. Not just the kind written in textbooks, but the kind etched into his bones-discipline, restraint, devotion. Lando never did. Where Oscar saw lines not to be crossed, Lando barely acknowledged they existed. And somehow, that difference became the very thing that pulled them together-until it broke something in Oscar he could never quite piece back the same way. Until something happened. Something that tore whatever fragile connection they had into pieces. Years later, they meet again-not as students, but as rivals. Oscar, now a prosecutor. Lando, a defense lawyer. On opposite sides of the courtroom, their worlds collide once more-this time tangled in tension, resentment, and everything they never resolved. Because some lines, once crossed, don't just disappear. They haunt you.
