This is for all the girlies who loved the movie but would have made different decisions/? By different decisions, I mean agreeing to be his third bride and cruising through your new life. You learn more about Walter Deville, the history of the mansion, and the relationship between the three families as you navigate these jarring realities. In this story, you are Evelyn Alexander, set in a new place under different circumstances. This is how I reimagine the movie to be but deeper on the romanticization and bad decisions. The problematic Walter de Ville is about to eat his words when he meets a Miss Evelyn Jackson Alexander, who has more in common with him than any bride that has come before; but it'll be a wild ride lasting longer than a wedding weekend. This is Walter's perspective with several new scenes, an altered storyline, and thus a different ending (although I love the whole "burn it to the ground" version from the film). Before Walter took on the three brides of Klopstock family, Billington family and Alexander family to gain control over all of them and gain power, there was one other woman who had caught Walter De Ville's attention, that made him feel the need to make her his before another man could take her hand in marriage. Walter felt the strong urge to make this young woman his own, that way he can control her and mold her to be his perfect wife. Unfortunately, the young woman who Walter had his eyes on, didn't want to become his wife and is willing to do anything to get away. When she becomes successful in escaping him, Walter takes on three brides to try and forget about her. But what happens when Evie and her friend show up at his manor, and Walter catches a glimpse of the friend realizing that she is a descendant of the original bride that he originally was going to marry? Will Walter continue to pursue Evie to gain control over the Alexander family and keep both Lucy and Viktoria as his brides, or will he ditch all three and go for the descendant of the his original bride, Colette Winters?
