Kinkajou is as happy as ever. She and her beloved shy, adorable SeaWing Turtle had a daughter named Dewdrop together, and now that she's growing up, Dewdrop wants to visit the only place her mother talks about the most: Jade Mountain Academy. Kinkajou is worried that this might go haywire like with her experiences at that school, even though she loved it. She lets Dewdrop go for a week as a test drive, and Dewdrop comes back as excited as ever. But in Dewdrop's winglet, is the son of an old enemy of Kinkajou's: The SeaWing Princess Anemone. Her son, Barracuda, has strong feelings for Dewdrop, though he isn't sure if they're positive or negative. His mother still dislikes Kinkajou and her offspring, and when Dewdrop offends Barracuda in the most cruel way possible, Anemone takes matters into her own talons. And maybe that means killing 2 of Kinkajou's current dragonets...and maybe the lost one too. Kinkajou will do anything to keep her daughter safe, and she knows the only way to get through this is to stick together, even if she has to tear up the whole continent looking for her egg.
