✎ finished ↠ phan oneshot book you are able to see the improvement of my writing from when i first started this book, to the most recent state. so be free to skip ahead to a decent spot if you want good writing. - there's many warnings in this, i list them before the book actually starts, as well as the word count. both are written under the summary of the oneshot. enjoy your almost-not-so-daily dose of gay writing. my opinion on these oneshots; some are poor and some are pretty good. but i love this book because so many people love it just as much. it's a place i can come to write whenever i have random ideas roaming around; it's a bit of relief really. by far, this oneshot book is my favorite even though it goes on hiatus a lot. it's always nice to know that, whatever you come out with, a group of people will like it.

Dan howell is starting at a new school, he is abused and raped by his own father, Phil lester is the so called emo fag, people call him that because someone told everyone he's gay, so he gets brutally beaten everyday but pretends as if nothing happens, what happens when they met? Phil doesn't talks. Well, not anymore. The last time he said something, was when he didn't hate himself. And that was a long time ago. But now, everything is different. He must struggle with depression, whilst new boy Dan Howell desperately attempts to win him over. [Warning: this could be triggering at some points]

Phil Lester is sweet and cute; known for his kindness and enthusiasm. Dan Howell is a tough, cold outsider; known as the school's stereotypical 'bad boy'. But if he's so bad, then why on earth did he rescue Phil Lester and give him a smile which would melt anyone's heart?

Dan needs to let go. His parents died and he was left to live with his aunt. Nothing was really the same and he just didn't want to let go of the people that once made his life happy. He has a recurring nightmare that haunts him every night. He is stuck in a glass room and he doesn't know how to escape. He's trapped. Not just metaphorically but literally too. TW: Death and implications of suicide.

Dan hated his life and that wasn't even an understatement. Each day he wished he had never woken up as he was tormented by those who were meant to love him. Just because they were meant to love him doesn't mean they did. He was suffering and was so close to giving up. Then he met Phil. Phil changed everything. Dan liked to wear black and look at the stars. He always wore a frown, reflecting his loneliness. Phil liked to wear pastel colours and pick flowers. He always smiled, showing that he was ready to brighten anyone's day. They were almost opposites... yet they were meant to be best friends. TW: Bullying.

Phil doesn't suit dark clothes and they just don't feel like.. him. Dan is secluded.. he blocks himself off from society. Two boys with problems they need to overcome.
