Some things lost in the giving can still be found again. Miriam Alderton has spent thirty-one years doing everything right-raising children, loving a husband, and tending a garden that is the finest in the county. Now, at fifty-eight, with the house quiet and her children grown and gone, she stands in her lavender field and asks herself a question she doesn't quite know how to answer: Who am I, outside of everything I have done and everyone I have loved? Saoirse is a single mother, a translator, and a woman who has traveled far to find a slower pace of life. She arrives in the little village of Hathwell with her daughter Nell, too many books, and the quiet exhaustion of someone who has poured every ounce of herself into one beloved person-and is only now realizing she has lost the thread of her own identity somewhere along the way. Together, amidst shared mornings, garden rows, and cups of tea gone slightly cold, two women who have both been quietly lost begin, at last, to find their way back to themselves. The Lavender Between Us is a gentle, luminous story about motherhood, friendship, and healing-and the beautiful truth that it is never too late to remember who you are, and who you are still becoming.

Angel is a lonely girl infatuated with stories of forgotten lands and ancient castles. On one cold and miserable night she stares up at the open abyss of the midnight sky and she wishes for something more, something other than this monotonous, empty, grey world around her. Perhaps Gods looked down on her that night, perhaps the stars took pity, perhaps Lady Luck spun her wheel, or, most likely, perhaps the universe is simply transcendently strange and incomprehensible, but for whatever reason Angel's wish was granted. The land she soon discovers is somehow an expanse of alien familiarity, of ordered chaos and humble riches - an amalgamation of all that is magical and curious.

The cold man fell in love with the kind girl because he knew that she deserved the world and that he wanted to be the one who gave it to her. ♡ Alette Faye was a sweet girl. She was exceptionally kind and had an air of simplicity. Between her part-time job at the bakery, her classes, her time spent tending to her flowers and walking in the fields, she didn't get the opportunity to experience much. Her past created fears in her that she seemingly couldn't overcome, and then she met him. For when she meets him, she should have run away in fear, but she stayed. She stayed and she opened her big heart for a man who found his heart, just for her. ♡ This story is a little cliché, a lot unedited, and super simple.
