Pero dentro de este equipo, existió un hombre se volvió uno de estos Kaiju, debido a que este mismo monstruo se fundió con él, convirtiéndose en un Kaiju que combatía con otros: su nombre era el Kaiju no. 8 y gracias a el, pudieron derrotar a todos y convertirse en el Rey Kaiju, y sobre todo... Un héroe para sus conocidos. Pero ahora ya no existen los Kaijus, después de que todos fueran eliminados, ahora considerados seres de leyenda, la sociedad ha entrado en una era donde la gente ha obtenidos súper poderes llamados Koseis, pero solo un 80%, y el 20% restante se los denomina Mu Kosei. Izuku, un Mu Kosei de nacimiento, alguien que ha sufrido por culpa de la desigualad, abuso y desprecio por no ser iguales a los demás, debido al poder de las palabras, decide que ya no era necesario en este mundo... Pero el destino tuvo otros planes, haciendo que una misteriosa criatura aparezca ante él, para convertirse en algo grande.
