With the looming threat now in the forefront, contestants are left wondering about where the host went off to. While MePhone4 himself, has to face truths he rather never learn about. These truths about the island.. about the company that built him.. and truths about him. Can MePhone4 learn to face his troublesome past? Learn to accept what has happened to him and what was taken away from him? Will he learn to grow.. or will the robotic host fall back into old habits..

Lightbulb wakes up in Hotel OJ to find everything... perfect. Too perfect. Everyone's acting like the best possible versions of themselves - Knife is gentle and soft-spoken, Taco and Pickle are happily together with no tension, and Balloon has completely dropped his desperate people-pleasing act. Even MePhone seems more stable and kind. At first, Lightbulb thinks this is amazing! All the conflict and drama that used to stress her out are gone. But something feels fundamentally wrong. The conversations are too polite, the smiles too consistent, and everyone keeps insisting they've "always been this way." When Lightbulb tries to bring up past arguments or drama, everyone looks at her with genuine confusion. "Lightbulb, why would you think Knife ever threatened anyone?" "Taco would never manipulate people, that's such a mean thing to suggest!" They seem genuinely hurt that she'd imply they were ever anything but perfect. She has to choose: pretend to be the "normal" version of herself that they want, or risk everything to restore her friends' true selves. But the more she fights against the artificial normalcy, the more she questions if maybe being "fixed" wouldn't be so bad after all... "Everything is well in hotel OJ right now. Not much besides working is happening anyway. I wonder if Painty is up to something right now." Lightbulb is having a normal life. Normal days. Normal competition. Normal everything. She doesn't care, but she does care about one thing. Paintbrush. Lightbulb had gotten a crush on Paintbrush a while ago but she just hasnt gotten the courage to ever speak to them. On top of that the hallucinations are getting worse and she cant cope with it well. Something changes in her though after word got out about something.. Or.. Someone.

The residents of Hotel OJ have died at each others hands, and trust is permanently broken between many of them. But they are glad they are all alive again. They will learn history repeats itself.

A majority of the hotel residents have moved on since the laboratory incident. Unfortunately, two of them never got the closure they so desperately longed for and needed. Balloon was kicked out of the hotel due to unexpected complaints about him. Due to this, Balloon was homeless, cold, and alone. Yet there was a place that he went to for safety, Meeple. In the pouring rain, he took a hot air balloon and arrived at Meeple with nothing but anxiety on his shoulders. Cobs, however, wasn't happy with this idea, but due to pity, he allowed Balloon to stay under his roof if Balloon worked for him.
