It was just a normal day at Hotel OJ for Lightbulb. That was, until Test Tube kidnapped Paintbrush for inhumane expiriments, and an unknown assailant has shot and killed Marshmallow. Now, OJ and Paper are trying to capture the culprit, while Lightbulb realizes she's gonna go out by one side or another. This fic is split into multiple acts: Act 1: Hiding in Plain Sight (Chapters 1-11) "Lightbulb feels cornered after Test Tube kidnaps Paintbrush and multiple other contestants, and someone starts murdering her teammates. All the while, OJ and Paper try to figure out what's going on." Act 2: Whiplash (Chapters 12-) "Test Tube, now stuck underground, grows closer with Fan. Meanwhile, Lightbulb attempts to live with the consequences of not acting on her suspicions earlier." Season two was going out of hiatus, but what if there was one more bump in the way? Why did it seem like the whole world didn't want MePhone4 to continue the second season of his show?! The final four embark on a quest, to track down MePhone4's location. While MePhone4 has other problems to deal with. With the looming threat now in the forefront, contestants are left wondering about where the host went off to. While MePhone4 himself, has to face truths he rather never learn about. These truths about the island.. about the company that built him.. and truths about him. Can MePhone4 learn to face his troublesome past? Learn to accept what has happened to him and what was taken away from him? Will he learn to grow.. or will the robotic host fall back into old habits..

Lightbulb wakes up in Hotel OJ to find everything... perfect. Too perfect. Everyone's acting like the best possible versions of themselves - Knife is gentle and soft-spoken, Taco and Pickle are happily together with no tension, and Balloon has completely dropped his desperate people-pleasing act. Even MePhone seems more stable and kind. At first, Lightbulb thinks this is amazing! All the conflict and drama that used to stress her out are gone. But something feels fundamentally wrong. The conversations are too polite, the smiles too consistent, and everyone keeps insisting they've "always been this way." When Lightbulb tries to bring up past arguments or drama, everyone looks at her with genuine confusion. "Lightbulb, why would you think Knife ever threatened anyone?" "Taco would never manipulate people, that's such a mean thing to suggest!" They seem genuinely hurt that she'd imply they were ever anything but perfect. She has to choose: pretend to be the "normal" version of herself that they want, or risk everything to restore her friends' true selves. But the more she fights against the artificial normalcy, the more she questions if maybe being "fixed" wouldn't be so bad after all... This is mostly a passion project so slow uploads! "Every day, she wakes up and dreads seeing them. Their thoughts mixed in with their sight? Yeah, not the best for our dear Lightbulb. Small crushes grow into something bigger, larger feelings and urges, and yet? They all watch her, failing back to back. She can't take it anymore." Lightbulb, the joy and light of the show, isn't she? Nobody ever worries about her, she's only having fun, after all! ...but what about when there's no fun to have? Lightbulb has to deal with her schizophrenia, going through the loop over and over again, before she can't take it anymore. One secret slipping, causing her to crack.

(THIS IS THE SECOND BOOK!! The first one is Hunger Hotel READ THAT FIRST OR YOU WILL HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON!!!) The aftermath might be worse than the incident itself. The residents of Hotel OJ have died at each others hands, and trust is permanently broken between many of them. But they are glad they are all alive again. They will learn history repeats itself.

A majority of the hotel residents have moved on since the laboratory incident. Unfortunately, two of them never got the closure they so desperately longed for and needed. Well, you know what they say; One rotten fruit spoils the bunch. - THIS IS A SEQUEL TO HALL 17!! PLEASE READ THAT BEFOREHAND!!! Balloon was kicked out of the hotel due to unexpected complaints about him. Due to this, Balloon was homeless, cold, and alone. Yet there was a place that he went to for safety, Meeple. In the pouring rain, he took a hot air balloon and arrived at Meeple with nothing but anxiety on his shoulders. Cobs, however, wasn't happy with this idea, but due to pity, he allowed Balloon to stay under his roof if Balloon worked for him.
