She had become known throughout the red room over the years as the most advanced ballerina that they've ever had since the previous traitor Natasha Romanoff who used to train there. Avery often spent additional time training in ballet classes with the older widows due to her advanced abilities. Though, what had supposed to of been a normal day in 2016 but had been anything but, the red room had suddenly been destroyed and the individual who just happened to save Avery from nearing her own death had been the one and only Natasha Romanoff. There had also been another woman-somebody that the seven year old had never laid eyes on before or knew anything about though eventually learned that her name was Yelena.
