It was supposed to be simple: a contract, a couple of eggs, and zero emotional entanglements. Orm never planned to fall for Lingling Kwong-the effortlessly elegant, frustratingly absent billionaire who became her wife on paper and disappeared before their daughters was born. Seven years later, Orm's world flips when her daughter's kindergarten meltdown reveals a shocking twist: Milk has a twin. And their other mommy? Lingling. Back. Gorgeous as ever. And dead set on being a mother-and a wife-again. As Lingling reenters their lives with ice cream, swing-set diplomacy, and an infuriating smile, Orm is forced to relive the heartbreak of their tangled past. But Lingling's not giving up-not on her daughters, and not on Orm. Because this time, she isn't offering a contract. She's offering forever.

Ling Kwong lives in a quiet house that hums with the sound of rain and the faint, haunting melodies of her own mind. At thirty, she is both woman and child - a rare condition she's lived with since she was fourteen, when her parents discovered that her sense of self sometimes drifts into a childlike state. Protected all her life, she has never known the world beyond her home's iron gates. Until Orm Kornnaphat Sethratanapong arrives. Orm is a pianist - patient, warm, and quietly lonely. She is hired by the Kwongs to teach Ling piano, but she soon realizes that her student is unlike anyone she has ever met. Ling's laughter carries innocence, her gaze burns with a woman's longing, and her hands tremble between playfulness and passion when they touch the piano keys - and sometimes, Orm's own. As the lessons continue, the house fills with unspoken tension: the way Orm's voice softens when she guides Ling's hands, the way Ling's eyes follow her like a secret prayer. But when Orm learns the truth about Ling's condition, fear wraps around her heart. Can she love someone whose mind sometimes drifts away from her - someone who is both a child in spirit and a woman in soul? Ling, however, is certain. In her lucid moments, she knows what she feels - and she's willing to fight for it. Even when her parents disapprove. Even when Orm pulls away. Even when her own mind betrays her.

Orm Sethratanapong has lost everything-her job, her home, and almost her will to fight. With nowhere else to turn, she takes her asthmatic little brother Atu on a desperate road trip away from Bangkok, ending up at an old, fading beach resort deep in the southern coast of Thailand. There, she meets Ling Ling Kwong-an enigmatic, brooding resort owner known for her cold detachment and guarded heart. Half-Thai, half-Hong Kong, Ling is haunted by a tragic past and rules her world with ruthless control. But something about Orm-stubborn, proud, and aching with hidden wounds-disarms her in ways no one ever has. What begins as irritation and distrust slowly burns into an undeniable attraction. But love isn't simple-especially when both women are carrying so much pain. And when walls come down, so do inhibitions.

Orm is a dreamer who texts someone who's perfected the art of leaving her on "seen." Lingling is a star athlete, effortlessly cool and just a little mysterious. Their story? Mostly quiet moments and awkward silences, until something unexpected started to take shape. A secret world of DMs, sharp banter, and confessions hiding between the lines. Orm fell first, utterly smitten. Then, to her surprise, Lingling was falling even harder (and maybe a little more awkwardly). This is a story about love in the digital age: a tender, honest, and sometimes hilarious look at pride, fear, jealousy, and the beautiful chaos of choosing to love out loud.

Ling finally tried committing to something other than her career, the gym routine and a rotating roster of flings. She proposed. Her girlfriend laughed. Apparently, Ling's "I'm not a relationship person" reputation is harder to shake than she thought. Especially when her *actual* longest relationship is with her best friend, Orm, and the tiny child who bosses her around and claims "she's ours."
