Mobius is home to quite interesting creatures, from animals that function like humans that can have super abilities, to hybrids that function like normal animals but still has that human like function. Sonic is one of those hybrids, he doesn't really know anything about his birth parents since he was abandoned on a farm with a nice couple...though he wasn't the only Mobian Hybrid.

Tails invited sonic into his lab to help him do an experiment, of course, Sonic grabs the wrong ingredient which causes it to explode.
