Itadori Yuuji was different from other people, ever since he ate Ryoumen Sukuna's finger that dreadful day. Yes, he wasn't the only sorcerer in the Jujutsu world, but he was the only person who carried the burden of being the vessel for the King of Curses. No one else seemed to feel the stress of handling him every day, and people being scared that he was going to lose control of him and unleash terror upon all of Japan. Kugisaki Nobara and Fushiguro Megumi were two of only a few people who actually dared to come close to him without fearing him, but even he could see they still hesitated to touch him (hugging, patting his shoulder, high fiving etc.) Which led him to wonder if the king of curses was actually that bad. Yes, he made his life living hell every day. But maybe, just maybe becoming his friend wouldn't that be too bad of an idea? Or at least make Sukuna more tolerable to him and to everyone else around him. The only question that remained was if Sukuna would accept Yuuji's attempts at this..
