Professors Flitwick and Burbage set a project where each Hogwarts 6th year spends a week inside a muggle fiction book. Hermione gets transported to Middle Earth along with Draco Malfoy who gets given that same book. The pair travels with 12 dwarves, a wizard and a hobbit to slay a dragon and reclaim a homeland. However something goes wrong and they aren't sent back to Hogwarts like they were meant to. Can they get back or are they stuck there until they die? Friendship is created and love formed between the Hogwarts students, a certain blonde dwarf and a red haired elf whilst a lot has happened at Hogwarts in the meantime.
