The crew of the Castle of Lions is waiting on a report from the Blade of Marmora. Mostly, how Keith and Lance didn't end up together. So I thought: Well, I guess I'll have to do it myself. I hope it's any good. It's awfully convenient that Keith's Galra, animalistic eye genes didn't show up until season six when he knew he was Galra. What if things were less convenient? What if those genes manifested while Keith was still at the Garrison?

~WARNING~ Mentions of injuries, violence, and possibly gory details ~ In the midst of battle, Blue ejects Lance as the Lion takes a heavy blow. Lance is stranded on the Earth-like planet since Blue fell into a deep abyss. The paladins realize this is a battle that won't be won and decide to leave. But as they realize the blue lion is temporarily lost, they decide to leave Keith and Red to stay with Lance and look for Blue. Maybe the rivals can learn to be friends... Or perhaps more (Sorry for the terrible description and its cheesiness. This takes place sometime in season two after they find out Keith is Galra, but kinda goes off the plot at some point. A piercing scream Silence. ... "L-Lance." "H-help me." Keith was captured by Galra soldiers on a mission. The team is growing worried. What are Zarkon's plan's for him? Why would he choose Keith when all of the Paladins were within reach? (Galra! Keith)

As the Blade of Marmora and Voltron gain leverage against the Galra, Keith is sent back to the castle to visit with his teammates for a few days. While everyone happily welcomes Keith with open arms Lance chooses to keep his distance. Frustrated with Lance's unexplained bitter attitude, Keith confides his stresses to the red lion. When red gets fed up with Keith's late night angst she decides to take action. That my friends is how Keith and Lance got locked insided of a giant magic robot space cat.
